Information and digital literacy competencies in a virtual degree

The article explores the perception of undergraduatestudents at a public state university in Mexico, regarding their experience after completing Multimodal Transversal Learning Unit Information and Digital Literacy. research two aspects: self-perception students level achievement specific digital competencies main learning outcomes course. It also reports assessment five syllabus, educational resources, activities, coverage cross-cutting themes throughout course, as well operation Management System technical support. was quantitative, through survey applied to 16 first group that completed curricular unit. Among results, following are reported: perceived levels different competency indicators, best valued competencies, overall course by students. highest reported indicators associated with students’ daily practices interests. lowest areas algorithmic understanding generation original contributions content.
